Who We Are

The Amplified Sound Coalition started as a rally to encourage Austin City Council to pass the SAVES Resolution on Wednesday, September 16th.  We succeeded, but knew there was still work to do for our industry and community.  TASC was born out of the need to keep our careers relevant to the Live Music Capital of the World, but also to help all struggling out-of-work event industry people in every way we can.

At its core, TASC was created by Jeannette Gregor, a furloughed music festival production worker and Mohawk employee, and Dan Holloway, the former event booker at the now permanently shuttered Barracuda.

You can bet both of them are drinking a lot of coffee at this very moment...
